William F. “ Musky Bill “ Kovacic age 65 of Lemont and business owner of Asset Strategies, Inc., passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023, surrounded by family, good friends, prayers and love. Beloved Son of Geraldine "Gerie" nee Burdzinski and the late William J. Kovacic. Loving Brother of firstborn baby Billy, Kandy (Jim) Carmen, Kim (Mike) Martin, Tammy (Rick) Hanna, Linda (Frank) Ciscato & Tom (Char) Kovacic. Uncle of Allison (Jake), Mitchell (Nikki), Angelica, Patrick, Mariah, Terisa (Joshua), Johnny, Marianna, Tommy, Amanda, Kayla, Ryan & Joshua. Great-uncle to Baby Conor. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Happiness for Bill was stepping up in leadership because of his general concern for others as well as sharing his many talents and passions. He was an avid fisherman and a season ticket holder of the Chicago Black Hawks. He was a graduate of Northern Illinois University with BS degrees in Finance and Meteorology, member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, past President of the local International Association of Financial Planning as well as IAFP National Board member, past Board member of Christ Hospital and coordinator for outings for children cancer patients at Hope Children's Hospital, and past member of Midlothian Country Club. The simple pleasures in life brought "Musky Bill" numerous fishing expeditions with Dad and good fishing buddies from the Great Lakes, Canada, Alaska, and Door County to the shores of Marco Island. Being an avid fisherman, he spent his quiet moments enjoying and appreciating God's beauty of the outdoors. A recent dream that was fulfilled last year on his birthday in August was an Alaskan fishing excursion. Bill will be deeply loved, missed and honored.
